Beach Wise Youth Camp Have fun, learn stuff and keep safe. Water focus: How to keep safe when enjoying the water at the beach. We will consider the environment, tides and weather. We will use a variety of equipment, SUP, surf and bodyboard. We will explore technical and rescue skills. Beach focus: How to keep safe when enjoying the beach. We will consider the environment, tides, weather, keeping safe, our impact and how we can look after the beach. We will explore the beach looking for local flora and fauna (rock pooling). Do beach cleans, and play beach games. All equipment is provided: board, wetsuit and PFD. Please wear appropriate clothing (waterproofs if wet etc), bring spare warm clothes, a changing towel. suncream, a hat, drinks and a snack. We meet at the Barry Yacht Club and will spend our time on Jackson's Bay.
